What are you going to do?

1. Client Prospecting (100% hunting)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling services to various clients to achieve WEngage's sales and profitability objectives. The Business Development Manager ensures the prospecting of new clients by establishing personal contacts and conducting prospect visits. During these visits, he/she identifies the client's needs, after which a clear and comprehensive proposal is prepared in collaboration with Operations, IT, the Project Manager, and the legal department. The Business Development Manager follows these cases from A to Z, up to the contract drafting stage. He/she collaborates with various stakeholders within WEngage to offer different services to prospects.

2. Preparing Proposals, (Public) Tenders & Contracts

The Business Development Manager translates the client's needs to the internal departments and works with them to develop a proposal. He/she personally drafts the collaboration contracts in cooperation with the legal department. He/she is responsible for the handover to the Project Management team, ensuring perfect execution according to the client's wishes.

3. Reporting & CRM Tool

The Business Development Manager reports his/her results and performance to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) through accurate input in the sales database/CRM software (Exact or other similar tools).

What will you excel in?

A Master's level of thinking and working;

Excellent command of both spoken and written Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus. Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the service sector (knowledge of the contact center business is a plus). Experience in consultative sales at the Senior Management/C-level is a must.

As an ambassador, you are closely involved with the organization, making it easy for you to discover and develop new sales opportunities. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) means that drafting proposals is no problem for you.
